Jonathan R. Lanni

Jonathan Lanni is an associate at La Cava Jacobson & Goodis’ Miami office. He was born in New York, and raised in the Central Florida area. Mr. Lanni graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, and minors in English Literature and Business. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctorate and LLM degrees from the University of Miami School of Law in 2014 and 2018, respectively. Mr. Lanni’s LLM degree was focused in the realms of Construction Law and Real Property Development.

Prior to joining La Cava Jacobson & Goodis, Mr. Lanni represented developers, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, in complex commercial litigation and arbitration, as well as in design defect and construction defect cases. He has also represented insurance carriers and their insureds in general, commercial, and professional liability matters on the defense side—involving and including premises liability, vehicle negligence, products liability, legal malpractice, wrongful death, general civil litigation, and variegated personal injury claims and lawsuits.

Mr. Lanni was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2014. He is admitted to practice in all Florida State courts, the Third District Court of Appeal of Florida, the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Southern District Courts of Florida, as well as the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.
