Miguel Gonzalez

Miguel Gonzalez is an associate at La Cava Jacobson & Goodis’ Miami office. He was born and raised in the South Florida area. Mr. Gonzalez graduated from Florida International University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Accounting. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the Florida International University College of Law in 2008.

Prior to joining La Cava Jacobson & Goodis, Mr. Gonzalez represented consumer lending and servicing clients in litigation arising from claims alleging violations of the Real Estate Settlement Practices Act (RESPA), Truth-In-Lending Act (TILA), Home Ownership and Equity Protection Act (HOEPA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act (FCCPA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Fair Housing Act (FHA) in Florida.

Mr. Gonzalez was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2008. He is admitted to practice in all Florida State courts, and the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Southern District Courts of Florida.
