Jessica Travis

Jessica Travis was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and received her associate degree in paralegal studies from Brown Mackie College – Louisville including a Certificate of Achievement for Case Management from United States District Court – Western and Eastern District of Kentucky. She has worked as a paralegal since 2013, primarily handling medical malpractice, personal injury, auto negligence, insurance defense and nursing home cases.

She joined La Cava, Jacobson & Goodis in 2023 as one of the firm’s paralegals in our Tampa office. She is responsible for case management throughout all aspects of litigation, from pre-suit to trial preparation, including review and analysis of medical records, preparation of medical chronologies, expert retentions, and preparation of expert materials, assisting with research and fact investigation.
