Shannon Posada

Shannon Posada graduated from The University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2002 and began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Duval County, where she handled serious felony cases, including drug crimes and murder charges.

After her tenure as a prosecutor, Shannon transitioned to private practice at a small firm, where she gained experience in a diverse range of litigation areas, from criminal and civil cases to complex litigation, family law, auto accidents, contracts, and personal injury. During this period, she participated in over 100 trials and thousands of court hearings, authored appellate briefs and post-conviction motions, and excelled in negotiating favorable outcomes for her clients. Shannon also served as the firm’s community and public relations liaison, engaging in numerous speaking engagements, social media videos, seminars, and articles on pertinent legal issues.

Since 2015, Shannon has concentrated on civil law, with a focus on insurance defense, trucking accidents, complex commercial litigation, contract litigation, appellate law, and construction law. Her extensive pre-trial and trial experience has honed her ability to analyze complex legal issues, craft effective legal documents, and argue cases confidently across various courts.

Shannon is a member of the Florida Bar, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the Jacksonville Association of Defense Counsel. She also served as Chair and member of The Florida Bar Grievance Committee from 2014 to 2017.
