Steven A. Capriati

Steven A. Capriati is a partner of La Cava Jacobson & Goodis. Born in New York, New York, he graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in 2003 and from the Hofstra University School of Law with a J.D. in 2006. Mr. Capriati began his career as a corporate & securities attorney with a prominent national firm before becoming a trial attorney with the State Attorneys’ Office in Tampa, FL. Most recently, he has represented self-insured companies, insurance companies, and those whom they insure with an AmLaw Top 100 national defense firm in general & premises liability, trucking, and toxic tort & environmental matters.

Mr. Capriati was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2006 and is admitted to all Florida state courts and the U.S. District Court of the Middle District of Florida.

At LaCava Jacobson & Goodis, Mr. Capriati’s practice will concentrate in the areas of general liability and premises liability (including, but not limited to negligent security, sexual assault, and wrongful death claims), transportation and trucking defense, Medical Malpractice claims, and insurance coverage issues related to general liability, homeowners, and transportation claims.
